The trek through Andharban is one of the most refreshing treks in the Sahyadri region. The name ‘Andharban’ is a compound word coming from Andhar meaning ‘dark’ and ban which means ‘forest’. Literally the ‘dark forest’ Andharban is a trail through dense overgrowth with beautiful views of the Devkund waterfall Plus Valley and the Tamhini Ghat along the way. Scattered throughout with numerous small streams and waterfalls it is a descending trek – it begins at an elevation of approximately 2160 feet in the Sahyadri mountains and descends down into the valley to reach the backwaters of the Bhira Dam.

Prior Registrations Compulsory. Limited Seats to be served on a first come first basis.
Itinerary:-
Day 1:
9:00 PM - Leave from Mumbai
3:00 AM - Reach the Base Village and rest
Day 2:
06:00 AM - Freshen up and have breakfast at the local villager's house
07:00 AM - Starts trek towards Andharban Jungle Trek.
11:30 AM - Reach at the half point. Along the way, we will spend time at the many waterfalls and take in the beautiful sights of the hiking route.
12:00 PM - Starts return trek towards Pimpri Dam.
01:30 PM - Have Lunch after completing the Andharban monsoon trek
02:30 PM - Reach a Local villager's house; here, we can use the washrooms and change into fresh clothes.
03:30 PM - Departure to Mumbai after Andharban jungle trail
10:30 PM - Approx. Arrival in Mumbai.
Important Note:
1) The trek leader holds the right to make any changes in the program or schedule without any prior notice. Participants will have to bear extra charges if any unavoidable expenses occurred due to change in program or natural calamities like landslides roadblocks etc.
2) Don't bring valuable things like gold or any jewelry or High-value mobile phones.
3) Consumption of Alcohol strictly banned on Trek. In case found guilty strict actions will be taken.
4) If any natural calamity happens or any accident death illness occurred Organiser is not responsible for any loss of thing or human being.
5) Cancellation Charges Rs. 500/- Strictly Applicable under any circumstances
